Senior Research Engineer at Lunio

Tomack Gilmore has a wide range of work experience. From 2013 to 2022, they have worked for various companies and organizations. Tomack started as a Research Fellow at the University of Vienna in 2013. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Centre for Digital Music, Queen Mary University of London. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer at Unified App, where they researched, prototyped, and developed statistical machine learning software solutions. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Coherent Software, where they developed iOS applications and websites for Capital One. Tomack also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL from 2019 to 2021, where they worked with Prof. Alan Sokal on problems connected to total positivity of infinite matrices. In 2021, they became a Lead Software Engineer (Data) at Realm.art, where they led a team that maintained and developed a software suite. Currently, they are a Senior Research Engineer at Lunio and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Mathematics) at Lancaster University, where they work with Dr. Natasha Blitvic on problems related to non-commutative probability.

Tomack Gilmore's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathematics from the University of Vienna, which they obtained between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed an MSci in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London between 2008 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Introduction to Data Science in Python from Coursera in February 2018, Introduction to Structured Query Language from Coursera in January 2018, and Machine Learning from Coursera in December 2017.
