Rita Hamzey has extensive work experience in customer service and operations roles. Rita began their career in 1997 as a PA to Senior Property Manager at McGrath Estate Agents. In 2000, they moved to the Australian Embassy as a Case Officer. From 2004 to 2012, they worked at Toys"R"Us Australia | Babies"R"Us Australia in various roles, including Customer Service & Product Safety Supervisor, Executive Assistant to Managing Director, and Operations Coordinator. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Customer Service Team Leader - Aftersales at Volkswagen Group Australia. Rita then moved to Harvey Norman, where they held the roles of Head of Online Operations, Customer Service & Operations Manager, and National Operations Manager - Harvey Norman Big Buys. Rita is currently the Head Of Customer Care at Lyka.

Rita Hamzey attained their HSC from Randwick Girls Technology High School between 1988 and 1993, studying English, Maths, Business Studies and Art. Rita then completed a Diploma in Business Administration at Mercury Business College in 1994. In 2010, they received a Cert IV in Retail Management from Frontier Leadership.
