Neveen Hosny

Head of Operations and Product development at M Squared Lasers

Neveen Hosny has worked in a variety of roles since 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they were an Assistant Project Manager at Dstl, where they were involved in a UK wide rollout program for rapid diagnostics of chlamydia. From 2003 to 2010, they were a Research Officer at the Institute of Cancer Research, where they re-designed and constructed equipment to produce Hyperpolarized Xenon (HpXe). From 2010 to 2011, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Blizard Institute - Queen Mary University of London, where they set up and established the only super-resolution microscope facility. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, where they developed a handheld portable endoscope for in-vivo non-invasive label free imaging. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Visiting Researcher and Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College London, where they managed multiple projects that covered Raman spectroscopy imaging, two-photon microscopy and in-vivo endoscopic vascular imaging. Since 2016, they have been the Head of Operations and Product Development, Senior Advanced Imaging Applications Specialist and Advanced Imaging Applications Specialist at M Squared.

Neveen Hosny obtained their PhD in Medical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London between 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned an MSc in Medical Engineering and Biomechanics from the University of Leeds between 2000 and 2001. Neveen also obtained a BEng (Hons) in Mechatronics from the University of Leeds between 1997 and 2000.
