Erik Gregory is a dynamic and driven finance executive with extensive experience in sales strategy, manufacturing operations, financial modeling, information technology, and capital management. He is sales-minded with a forward-looking approach, and capable of problem solving under challenging conditions.

He is an empathetic leader that understands what it takes to transform a business. Erik takes a collaborative and patient approach before taking any action. This approach has served him well when dealing with family business owners that require the appropriate amount of finesse to drive the change needed for growth.

Erik currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Material Exchange, an early stage technology startup that aims to deliver the seamless exchange of excess raw materials in the marketplace. In this role, his main responsibilities include determining corporate vision, sales strategy, and fundraising.

In his previous role as Chief Financial Officer of an advanced contract manufacturing company, Erik was a key driver of sales growth and profitability. He brought a professional approach to the executive team that broke down the traditional barriers of a family-owned business and provided the catalyst for growth. During his tenure he successfully negotiated and integrated two tuck-in deals that significantly contributed to both top and bottom line growth. In addition, Erik was not only able to maintain the existing business, but also grow revenues due to extensive market knowledge.

Erik believes in open communication and mentoring as key elements for creating a successful team environment. He strives to provide the opportunity for career growth and enhancement.

He focuses on daily learning to enhance his skill sets. Erik earned his Bachelors’ in Accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York and is also a Certified Management Accountant under the Institute of Management Accountants.

In his spare time, Erik enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. He currently resides in Amherst, NY.
