David grew up in New York and has worked in many NYC restaurants, including Luksus, a Michelin-Starred Restaurant in Greenpoint, NYC. There, he collaborated with the farmers and chefs club where he learned an array of innovative techniques from chefs and how to enjoy the produce grown by passionate local farmers. He played a role in setting up the chefs residency by staff and sourcing ingredients, making the residency come to life through curating the cuisine and ambiance that the team wanted to create. He is always exploring local farms to see how agricultural practices are innovating, and is interested in sustainable farming practices and its role in the f+b industry, as well as understanding nutritional values and the medicinal principles of plants.
