John Paul Lech

John Paul Lech is currently the Lead Portfolio Manager at Matthews Asia, overseeing the Emerging Markets Equity and Emerging Markets Ex-China strategies. John Paul is also the Co-Portfolio Manager for the Matthews Asian Growth and Income Strategy. Previously, John Paul served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at OppenheimerFunds and held roles such as Portfolio Manager, Head of Research, and Director of Research. John Paul Lech is also the Managing Member of Palisades 2022 LLC, a real estate property company. John Paul graduated from Georgetown University with a MA in Foreign Service and a BSFS in Foreign Service, after completing their high school education at Denver East High School.
