Dave Church

Dave Church has over two decades of work experience in various roles within the information technology field. Dave began their career as a Support Analyst at Nova Gas Transmission Ltd., supporting forecasting systems for natural gas supply and demand. Dave then moved to Westcoast Energy, where they provided support for complex custom-built applications and designed and implemented system enhancements. At Duke Energy Corporation, Dave worked as an Information Architect, analyzing, designing, and implementing integration solutions. Dave also played a key role in a project that separated Duke's business into two autonomous branches. Dave then joined Devon Energy as an Integration Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for designing and building an enterprise service bus and collaborating with vendors to design APIs. Dave continued their career at ATB Financial as a Senior Business Analyst, leading the data stream of a project to implement a CRM system. At Spectra Energy, Dave led projects as a Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager, automating data collection and reporting processes. Dave later joined Enbridge, where they served as the ERP Integration Lead, overseeing the consolidation of Enbridge's business units onto a single cloud-based ERP platform. Currently, Dave is working at McCain Foods as the Application Integration Architect Lead. Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated expertise in integration architecture, project management, and system analysis.

Dave Church earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in the years 1996 to 1999. Dave later pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree from The University of Winnipeg, and completed an Advanced Arts Degree in English and Math from the University of Manitoba.
