Angela Huang is a Research Scholar at Moran-Mirabal Research Group, specializing in engineering and characterizing porcine decellularized extracellular matrix-based hydrogel thin films for organ-on-a-chip models, with funding from the BHSc Summer Research Scholarship. Previous roles include a Research Course Student focused on structuring collagen hydrogel thin films and a Summer Research Intern optimizing lung tissue decellularization protocols. Angela also serves as the Assistant Director of the Diversity + Equity Network at McMaster Students Union and has held leadership positions at Stay Woke Organization and Carols for Cans. Angela is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at McMaster University, having previously completed an International Baccalaureate.
