Michaelyn Lux is a Senior Scientist at Merck, with experience in developing synthetic methodologies for complex chemical structures. Prior to this role, Michaelyn Lux served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, focusing on the synthesis of the pyrano[3,2-b]benzofuran motif, a key structure in numerous bioactive natural products. Educational accomplishments include a PhD from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Michigan State University, where Michaelyn Lux also worked as an Economics Teaching Assistant and participated in undergraduate research projects related to bio-oil and Alzheimer’s Disease mechanisms.
