Lieven Dhaene

Lieven Dhaene has an extensive work history, starting in 1989 at Arcelor as a Corporate Controller. Lieven then worked as an Internal Audit and Tax Director at Telindus Group from 1992 to 2007. Following that, Lieven served as the CFO for Bostoen NV for a period of ten years, from 2007 to 2017. In 2018, they took on ad-hoc projects at Automation until 2020. In the same year, Lieven became the CFO of Faktion and held that position until 2023. Additionally, they worked as an Interim CFO at SEPIA in 2019 and completed an acquisition in South Africa during their tenure. In 2020, Lieven joined Metamaze as CFO, followed by a CFO role at Calltic in 2021. Prior to their CFO positions, Lieven founded and managed their consulting firm, Pianti Consulting, and Admi-Consult Dhaene.

Lieven Dhaene attended the University of Antwerp from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting. During the same period, they also earned a degree in economics from the same university in 1985.
