Zachary Bueltel

Zachary Bueltel has gained a diverse range of work experience over the years. Zachary most recently worked as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Leonardo Castro at the Minnesota Judicial Branch starting in August 2022. Prior to that, Zachary served as a Law Clerk at Hennepin County Attorney's Office from October 2021 to June 2022. Zachary also worked as a Summer Law Clerk at the Children's Law Center of Minnesota from May 2021 to August 2021.

In addition to their legal roles, Zachary has also gained experience in community support and youth development. Zachary worked as a Student Attorney at Ramsey County Public Defender from May 2020 to May 2021, and as a Community Support Worker at Thresholds from January 2019 to August 2019. Zachary also held positions as a Youth Development Coordinator at the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities from February 2018 to January 2019, and as a Community Developer & Education Volunteer at Sabela Trust from October 2017 to January 2018.

Zachary served as a YMCA Social Responsibility VISTA Research and Evaluation Coordinator through AmeriCorps VISTA from August 2016 to August 2017. Additionally, they gained experience as a Development Intern at The Advocates for Human Rights from January 2016 to June 2016.

Zachary Bueltel completed their General Studies at Owatonna High School from 2008 to 2012. Zachary then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International/Global Studies at the University of Minnesota, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of St. Thomas School of Law and expects to complete their Doctor of Law - JD degree by 2022.
