Margaret Schwertner is an experienced Environmental Scientist at Moffatt & Nichol since September 2006, focusing on environmental studies, planning, and permitting for water- and shoreline-dependent projects including ports, marinas, and habitat restoration. Prior to this role, Margaret served as an Environmental Project Manager and Administrator at the Port of Anacortes from 2001 to 2006, where responsibilities included SEPA permitting and grant application support. Margaret's career began as a Research Scientist at Taylor Resources, Inc., and included a role as a Technical Representative in Aquaculture at East Chilliwack Agricultural Co-op. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Fisheries from the University of Washington and a degree in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
