Scientist I at Mogrify

Priya Narayanan has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Priya worked as a Young Inspector at Merton Council from September 2013 to December 2014, where they conducted inspections of community services and public health for young people. After that, they served as an Academic Representative at The University of Sheffield from September 2015 to June 2018, collecting student issues and presenting them at departmental committee meetings.

At The University of Sheffield, Priya held multiple roles from 2020 to 2023. Priya began as a Peer Assisted Learning Leader, providing academic support to first-year PhD students. Priya then became the Coordinator for Peer Assisted Learning, where they organized sessions, delivered feedback, and facilitated debrief sessions with academic staff. Priya also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the MSc Developmental and Reproduction course, designing and running teaching sessions, and assisting students during practical microscopy sessions. Finally, they served as the Secretary of the MDH PGR Society from October 2021 to August 2022.

Currently, Priya is working as a Research Scientist at Mogrify since June 2023.

Priya Narayanan's education history is as follows:

Priya began their education at Ricards Lodge High School from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained their GCSEs. Priya then attended Wallington County Grammar School from 2013 to 2015 for their A-Levels, focusing on Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

After completing their A-Levels, Priya enrolled at The University of Sheffield from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences. Priya furthered their education at the same institution from 2018 to 2019, pursuing an MSc(Res) degree in Translational Oncology.

Continuing their academic journey, Priya is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at The University of Sheffield, which they began in 2019 and is projected to complete in 2023.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Priya has obtained a certification as a Personal Licence Holder (PIL) from the UK Home Office in March 2020.
