Scientist II at Mogrify

Ringaile Zaksauskaite has a diverse work experience in the field of research and science. Ringaile is currently working as a Scientist II at Mogrify since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist of Molecular Biology at Clover Biopharmaceuticals from May 2022 to September 2022. In this role, they were responsible for planning the opening of an antibody discovery center, leading a transgenic mouse team, and collaborating with a team in China. Ringaile also negotiated with CROs.

Before joining Clover Biopharmaceuticals, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge from July 2020 to May 2022. In this role, they harnessed iPSCs to investigate the role of endogenous DNA damage in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and utilized a Parkinson's disease model to determine how PARK7 contributes to neuronal phenotypes. Ringaile also gave regular presentations to key stakeholders.

Prior to their time at the University of Cambridge, they held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate/Assistant at the University of Sheffield from January 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they managed multiple projects simultaneously, screened for drugs to target cancer cells, and regularly presented results to Artios Pharma.

Additionally, they worked as a Lab and Analysis Session Demonstrator at the University of Sheffield in early 2016.

Ringaile Zaksauskaite pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 2003 to 2010, they attended Jono Jablonskio gimnazija in Kaunas, Lithuania. Ringaile obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with a specialization in Medical Genetics from The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2013. Subsequently, they continued their education at the same university and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology in 2017.
