Rucha Joshi

Senior Research Associate-i, Formulation Development at Montai Health

Rucha Joshi has a diverse work experience in the field of formulation development and research. Rucha currently holds a position as a Research Associate II - Formulation Development at Montai Health, where they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate - Formulation Development at Montai Health from August 2021 to December 2021.

In 2021, Rucha also completed a co-op program at EMD Serono, Inc. as a Large/Small Molecule Formulation Co-op from January 2021 to July 2021.

Before their experience in formulation development, Rucha worked as an RSO Proctor at the Residential Security Office at Northeastern University from September 2020 to June 2021. Rucha also gained research experience as a Research Intern at Stevanato Group from September 2020 to December 2020.

Rucha's earliest work experience was as a Junior Scientific and Medical Writer at Springer Nature from July 2017 to July 2019. In this role, they assessed and reviewed published articles and literature, wrote accurate concise summaries capturing safety information, and processed individual case safety reports using various formats and databases. Rucha received the STAR award for outstanding productivity and quality of the processed cases.

Rucha Joshi pursued their education in the field of pharmacy. Rucha obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from AISSMS College of Pharmacy in India from 2011 to 2015. Rucha then went on to earn an M.Pharm degree in Pharmaceutics from Poona College of Pharmacy between 2015 and 2017.

In their quest for further knowledge, Rucha Joshi enrolled at Northeastern University in 2019 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Rucha Joshi has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge base. Rucha completed a course on the Basics of CRISPR/Cas9 from The Jackson Laboratory in July 2020. In the same month, they also completed a course on the Introduction to the Biology of Cancer from The Johns Hopkins University. Rucha Joshi obtained certification in PCR and Real-Time PCR from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in July 2020. Furthermore, they attended a Cell Culture Applications and Techniques workshop organized by the Chest Research Foundation in April 2018. Rucha Joshi is also a Registered Pharmacist, certified by the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council in India since September 2015.
