Adelaida López Mercado

Adelaida has over 25 years of experience in project management in industry, academia, and government.

Ade brings expertise in analyzing, researching, and gathering technical and commercial information to support regulatory lobbying processes. She has worked as a consultant with multinational companies, and organizations such as the Mexican Foundation for Health (FUNSALUD). As a sports nutritionist, she worked closely with Olympic athletes and supported them all the way to the Olympic podium. She has served in the Scientific Advisory Board of multinational food and beverage companies.

Adelaida is an innovative and rigorous project manager and brings expertise in nutrition, labeling regulations, and health marketing.

Adelaida has a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico and M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the European University in Spain.
