Frith Williams has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as a Senior Editor/Project Manager at Learning Media's Business Development Division. In 2005, they began working as a Cross-platform Concept Developer/Content Creator as a freelancer. Later that year, they joined the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa as a Writer/Editor. From 2005 to 2011, they held various roles within the museum, including Head of Writing. In 2011, they became the Head of Exhibition Content, and then Head of Exhibition Renewal from 2015 to 2018. Finally, in 2018, they were appointed as the Head of Experience Design + Content at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
Frith Williams' education history began with a Prerequisite PhD or equivalent experience in Museum Studies, which was completed in 2015 through a Fulbright Scholar Award.
