Reece Hart

Reece Hart is the Chief Technology Officer at MyOme. Prior to this, they were a Volunteer at Landslide PAC where they worked with mission-driven volunteers to build an app that helped users get the information they needed to register and vote, and to encourage their friends to do the same. They have also been Self-Employed as LaunchCTO / Reece Hart Consulting, where they partnered with healthcare start-ups to build technical foundations that got them off the ground quickly and to scale stably. Reece has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Genome Medical, Inc. and as a Research & Engineering Fellow at Invitae.

Reece Hart has a PhD from Washington University in St. Louis in Molecular Biophysics, which they obtained in 1998. Reece also has a degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, which they obtained in 1994 while concurrently working on their PhD in Molecular Biophysics. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Molecular Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1990. During their time at UC San Diego, they were also a disc jockey for the Tang Soo Do KSDT.
