Evelyn Hooper

Evelyn Hooper is a dedicated professional in animal care and behavioral husbandry, currently serving as a Behavioral Husbandry Keeper at Nashville Zoo since August 2023. Previously, Evelyn worked as a Kennel Assistant at Southside Animal Hospital from March 2022 to August 2023 and completed an internship as a Behavioral Husbandry Intern at Nashville Zoo in late 2021. Evelyn's background includes experience in library services at Purdue University and customer service roles at Cracker Barrel and rue21. Evelyn holds a Master's degree in Animal Science and Behavior with a focus on Canine and Feline Health and Care from Unity Environmental University and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Purdue University. A high school diploma was earned at Terre Haute South Vigo High School in June 2017.
