Edward Dunnigan has a diverse work experience in the firearms industry. Edward started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Michaels of Oregon in 2005, where they provided technical support and maintained accurate call logs. When Michaels of Oregon was bought by Bushnell, they were one of the few employees offered a job transfer. Edward then worked for Bushnell as a Quality Assurance Technician, handling consumer orders, answering technical questions, and supporting the sales staff. In 2008, Dunnigan joined HS Precision as a Sales and Tech Support representative. Edward later moved on to Cabela's in 2009, initially working in the Gun Library Retail Outfitting department and eventually being promoted to Internet Retail Sales Specialist in the Gun Library. At Cabela's, they photographed and wrote marketing copy for high-end firearms, posted them on the website, and exceeded sales goals. In 2004, Dunnigan also worked for the National Rifle Association as a Personal Protection and Safety Instructor, teaching courses on handgun use, personal protection, and firearm safety. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong knowledge of firearms and a dedication to customer service.

Edward Dunnigan attended Mid America Nazarene University from 2006 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their fields of study included Management and Human Relations, as well as English and Professional Writing. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Range Safety Officer Instructor for IDPA from the International Defensive Pistol Association.
