John Hein has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. John started their career as an Independent Security Professional at Vance International in 1995, and later worked as a Personal Protection Team Leader at High Profile Security Specialist, Inc., J.D. Usher & Associates, and Risk Control Strategies, Inc.

In 2001, they joined the Windermere Police Department where they served as a High Liability Law Enforcement Instructor and later retired as a Lieutenant, Operations Commander, and Reserve Division. During their time at the police department, they were responsible for various tasks including selection, evaluation, training, scheduling, and management of reserve police officers. John was also involved in conducting in-service training, patrolling, traffic and criminal enforcement, and community policing. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Security Professional at Blackwater USA and SPX Corporation where they provided security services for specific events and tasks.

In addition, John Hein has been a NRA Certified Instructor since 2002, providing firearm training and instruction.
