Alex Asfouri has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Harris Health System. In 2012, they interned as a Biomedical Engineer at GE Healthcare. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Halliburton, initially as a Mechanical Engineer, then as a Data Analyst in Reservoir Monitoring, and finally as a Project Manager in Reservoir Monitoring. In 2016, they joined M.A. Wright Fund as a Junior Analyst and later became a Senior Analyst in the Energy & Utilities sectors. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at GE Oil & Gas as a Performance Improvement Leader in the PMO. They then moved on to KPMG US and worked as a Management Consultant from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Oliver Wyman as a Strategy Consultant, where they conducted commercial due diligence and market assessments for energy infrastructure investments. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Corporate Strategy at Cornerstone Building Brands and will assume the role of Vice President of Transformation in 2023.

Alex Asfouri completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Houston between 2007 and 2012. They then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business from 2015 to 2017. In 2022, Alex attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School for an Executive Leadership Program. They have also obtained certifications such as Trained Mentor from Mentor Collective in 2020, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2017, and lean six sigma green belt from GE Oil & Gas in 2017. It is unknown if they obtained an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
