Oscar Merino

Oscar Merino has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Oscar started their career at UPAEP as a Networking Manager, where they installed a wide area network and administered servers. Oscar then worked at Softtek as a Java Senior Developer, analyzing client business processes and developing technical requirement documentation.

After that, Oscar joined IDS Comercial as an Oracle Applications Technical Consultant, where they designed, developed, and implemented software applications. Oscar then moved on to 4th Source, where they held multiple positions, including Country Director Mexico and VP Mexico Operations. In these roles, they drove business growth, prepared budgets, and built strong relationships across functional leadership areas.

Most recently, Oscar has been working at NearShore Technology, first as a Senior Account Manager, handling high-profile accounts and cultivating productive relationships with clients. Oscar then transitioned to the role of Human Resources Director, where they developed and executed HR policies and programs.

Oscar Merino holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Lic. Sistemas Computacionales, which they obtained from UPAEP from 1989 to 1993. Following this, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Maestria degree in Alta direccion y negocios internacionales from Universidad Anáhuac. In 2008, they attended IPADE Business School, where they obtained an AD-2 degree in MBA. In the same year, they also obtained a Diploma in Project Management from Alpha Consultoría.

In 2014 and 2015, Oscar Merino attended The John Maxwell Team, where they acquired the certification of a Certified speaker, coach, and trainer in Organizational Leadership. Moreover, they obtained additional certifications such as "Mastering Sales: A Toolkit for Success" from Kellogg Executive Education in September 2022 and "Coach, Trainer, and Speaker of the John Maxwell Team" from The John Maxwell Company in August 2015.
