Habitat Researcher at NEIWPCC

Christina Pacella is an experienced environmental professional specializing in habitat research and wetlands assessments. Currently serving as a Habitat Researcher at NEIWPCC since June 2022, Christina conducts research on the resilience of estuarine habitats to climate change within the Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve. Prior roles include environmental analysis and monitoring in the System-Wide Monitoring Program, and environmental scientist positions at Tighe & Bond and the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Christina's earlier experience includes project coordination for coastal resiliency initiatives and extensive environmental assessments with Tectonic Engineering & Surveying Consultants. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from SUNY New Paltz and furthered education at Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment.
