Legal Team

The Legal Team at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General is responsible for prosecuting criminal and civil offenses, advocating for consumer rights, and providing legal counsel to the State and its entities. The team, comprised of specialized attorneys including the Attorney General, Assistant Attorneys General, Solicitor General, and Special Counsel, works collaboratively to ensure the protection and prosperity of New Mexican communities through litigation, policy-making, and public education initiatives.
