Rachel Franchilli has a wide range of work experience in the education field. Rachel started their career as a Corps Member in Jumpstart in 2006 and later became a Volunteer Teaching Assistant. Rachel worked as a Research Associate in the Education Department of the New York Philharmonic, where they conducted research on student engagement. Rachel then worked at TNTP in various roles, including Senior Program Manager, Site Manager - Goals, and Senior Manager. Rachel led strategic planning, managed data systems, and supported business development efforts. Rachel also worked at New Leaders for New Schools as a Graduate Research Consultant, conducting research on principal evaluation systems. Rachel joined The National Math and Science Initiative as a Senior Program Manager, where they led a team and collaborated with the NYCDOE to provide coaching to high school administrators. Currently, they are the Director of Partnerships and Development at New Teacher Center, where they design and drives fee for service and philanthropic strategies. Rachel manages a team responsible for grant and proposal writing, policy research and analysis, and Salesforce CRM maintenance. Throughout their career, Rachel has consistently demonstrated expertise in program management, data analysis, and strategic planning in the education sector.

Rachel Franchilli earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University, after completing their education in 2010. Rachel then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Education Policy and Social Analysis from Teachers College, Columbia University, which they completed in 2012.
