Angela Larkin

Angela Larkin (Mecca) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Angela currently serves as the Director, Regional Sales at Newsela since February 2022. Prior to this, they have had an extensive tenure at Google, where they held various roles including K-12 Google for Education Sales Manager, West Region from March 2020 to February 2022, Google Cloud Platform Education Grants from April 2018 to March 2020, and Regional Manager, Education from September 2013 to April 2018. Before joining Google, Angela worked at Box as a Sr. Account Executive from June 2012 to September 2013. Angela began their career at Ingram Micro, where they held multiple positions including Senior Market Development Specialist- Microsoft Cloud from April 2012 to May 2012, Market Account Representative- Hosted Applications from February 2011 to March 2012, and Microsoft Licensing Specialist from January 2007 to January 2011.

Angela Larkin (Mecca) obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the State University of New York at Fredonia in the years 2002 to 2006. Angela then pursued further education and received an MBA from the University of Florida between 2012 and 2013. Finally, Angela attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business where they completed the Stanford LEAD, Personal Leadership program from the year 2019 to 2020.
