Manan Thakkar

Manan Thakkar has been working in the software engineering industry since 2010. Manan started as a Test Engineering Intern at Azure Dynamics in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at 3M. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at MoSys where they created an application using Python and PyQT. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Consultant at Expicient Inc. where they worked on backend Sterling OMS implementation and retail mobile app development. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals, where they worked on a number of frontend and backend languages and frameworks including jQuery, Prototype, React, Dust CakePHP, Java/Spring, and Python/Django. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at HubSpot. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Engineering Manager and Software Architect at Mainstay. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Nimble.

Manan Thakkar attended North Reading High School from 2004 to 2008. Manan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University from 2008 to 2013.
