Jean-Pierre Fossey

Jean-Pierre Fossey has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Jean-Pierre is currently serving as the Reservoir and Petroleum Engineering Discipline Manager at North Oil Company Qatar, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Total for ten years, with various responsibilities. From September 2019 to the present, they served as the Exploration Performance Coordination Manager, and from September 2015 to August 2019, they were the APC DRO and Reservoir Manager. Before that, they were the TEPCA Geosciences Manager from September 2011 to August 2015.

Before joining Total, Jean-Pierre Fossey worked at ConocoPhillips as the Surmont Geosciences Manager from September 2008 to August 2011. Prior to that, they worked at TOTAL, where they held two positions. From September 2005 to August 2008, they served as the TEPF Reservoir & Geosciences Manager, and from January 2004 to August 2005, they worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer.

Earlier in their career, Jean-Pierre Fossey held positions at Gulf Canada Limited as the Surmont Senior Petroleum Engineer from January 2000 to December 2003, at PanCanadian as a Senior Reservoir Production Engineer from January 1998 to December 1999, and at CS Resources Limited as a Reservoir-Production Engineer from October 1992 to December 1997.

Jean-Pierre Fossey completed a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from ESTP - Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics, from 1988 to 1991. Subsequently, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from IFP - Institut Francais Petrole, which they pursued from 1991 to 1992.
