Greggor Mattson currently serves as Chair-elect of the Sociology of Sexualities Section at the American Sociological Association and is a Group Facilitator at Reflection Point. With an extensive career at Oberlin College since July 2008, Mattson holds the positions of Professor of Sociology, Chair of the Department of Sociology, and Program Director for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies, among other roles. Mattson has also contributed to various committees and review boards, including the American Sociological Association and the National Science Foundation. Prior academic appointments include serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan and as a Visiting Lecturer at Mills College. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, an MPhil from the University of Oxford, and a BA from The George Washington University.
