Joan O'Shea

Senior Vice President Quality & Food Safety at ofi

Joan O'Shea has extensive work experience in quality and food safety. Joan is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Quality & Food Safety at Olam Food Ingredients (OFI) since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Kellogg Asia Pacific Pte Ltd as the Senior Director of Quality from May 2017 to August 2021 and at Kellogg Asia Pacific Pty Ltd as the Quality Director of Asia Pacific from October 2015 to May 2017. Before joining Kellogg, Joan held the position of Group Quality Director at Goodman Fielder from May 2012 to September 2015. Joan also has experience as the National Quality Manager at Goodman Fielder. In addition, Joan worked at Campbell Arnotts as the R&D Director from July 2008 to September 2011, Quality Director of Asia Pacific from December 2005 to June 2008, and in various quality and technical roles from 1997 to 2005. Prior to that, they served as the Quality Manager at Wella Hair Care and Technical Manager at J. Pao & Co. Ltd (London).

Joan O'Shea obtained a BSc in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University College Cork, where they studied from 1982 to 1986.
