Nancy Kennedy has a diverse work experience, spanning various sectors and roles. Starting in 2004 with the Ontario Finance | Ontario Finances, they worked as the Director of Provincial Local Initiatives. Nancy then moved on to the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, where they served as the Director of Strategic Policy from 2006 to 2008. Nancy continued their career in the Ontario Ministry of Transportation as the Director of Transit Policy from 2008 to 2009. Nancy then joined The Ontario Cabinet Office as the Executive Coordinator of Economic and Environment Policy from 2009 to 2012. During this time, they were also promoted to the role of Assistant Deputy Minister, Health, Education, and Social Policy from 2012 to 2014. Nancy then transitioned to the health sector, working as the Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategy and Policy at Health | Santé from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Nancy held roles in the Ontario Ministry of Finance, including Assistant Deputy Minister, Revenue Agency Oversight, and Associate Deputy Minister. In 2018, they took on leadership positions at multiple organizations, including President of OCS Ontario Cannabis Store, Deputy Minister at the Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat, and Vice President of Social Responsibility at OLG. Nancy then moved to a role as the Senior Vice President of People and Culture at OLG in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Lottery and Customer Officer at OLG, starting in 2022.

Nancy Kennedy received a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from McGill University in 1992. Nancy then pursued a Master of Arts degree at the University of Guelph in 1993.
