Ben Balatbat, MD, FACP has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Ben is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at One Community Health Sacramento since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Mercy Medical Group for over 13 years as a Primary Care Physician and also served as the Chief Medical Officer from 2018 to 2020. Ben held the position of Chair, Department of Internal Medicine at Mercy Medical Group from 2009 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Associate Medical Director at UC Davis Primary Care Network from 1996 to 2008.

Ben Balatbat, MD, FACP's education history begins with their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, which they obtained from the University of the Philippines from 1979 to 1983. Following this, they went on to pursue their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the same university, completing it from 1983 to 1987.
