Rebeca Vazquez Chao

Rebeca Vazquez Chao has a solid work experience with expertise in HR and people strategy. Rebeca is currently serving as the Global Vice President of People Strategy & Operations at OneTrust since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Global Head of Talent Management, Leadership and Culture at Swvl from January 2022 to June 2022. Rebeca also worked as the Regional Head of HR - EMEA South & Latam at Celonis from July 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they held various HR roles at Groupon, including Head of HR in UAE from March 2015 to July 2020 and Senior HRBP in Spain and Portugal from June 2010 to February 2015. Rebeca's earlier experiences include working in HR roles at Banco Caixa Galicia, Construcciones Chao e Hijos S.L., and Start People. At Construcciones Chao e Hijos S.L., they played a key role in building up the HR and Admin team, designing HR policies, analyzing HR metrics, and conducting ISO 9001 audits.

Rebeca Vazquez Chao holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, which they completed from 2001 to 2007. Rebeca also obtained a Master's degree in Labor Risks Prevention, Quality, and Environment from the Centro de iniciativas profesionales from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in Human Resources from ITE Caixa Galicia from 2008 to 2009 and a course specializing in Business Management from the Comillas Pontifical University during the same period. Rebeca also pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources, specializing in Compensation and Benefits from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues from 2009 to 2010. In 2015, they completed a course on UAE Labour Laws from Informa Middle East.
