Marcelo Modica

Marcelo Modica is the current Chief People Officer at OneTrust. Marcelo has previously served as the Chief People Officer at Robinhood, Gregorys Coffee, and Mercer. Marcelo has also been an independent task force member for UNICEF, a business council member for HERE to HERE, and the MD of Consumer & Business Banking Human Resources for JP Morgan Chase. Marcelo Modica began their career in 2006 as the SVP of Discover Financial Services, where they were quickly promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of human resources strategy and operations for over 16,000 employees. In 2011, Marcelo left Discover to join JP Morgan Chase as their MD of Consumer & Business Banking Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of over 5,000 employees in HR strategy and operations. Marcelo Modica left JP Morgan Chase in 2012 to join Mercer as their Chief People Officer. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of human resources for over 30,000 employees in over 130 countries. Marcelo Modica left Mercer in 2020 to join Robinhood as their Chief People Officer. In this role, they are responsible for all aspects of human resources for over 3,000 employees.

Marcelo Modica has a MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from Siena College.
