Ilian Uzunov

Ilian Uzunov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ilian started their career at Trud Publishing in 2000, where they worked in sales and subsequently became the Head of the IT department. Ilian then joined Sirma Solutions in 2003, initially working in marketing and sales before transitioning to a role as a Project Coordinator. In 2005, they joined Sirma Media as a Product Manager, responsible for managing the entire product life cycle. Ilian later became the Operational Manager, overseeing various aspects of the business. In 2009, they became the CEO of Sirma Media Jsc before joining Ontotext in 2014. At Ontotext, they started as a Business Development Manager focused on educational and academic publishing. Ilian then took on the role of Sales Director and Partnerships Manager before their current position as Sales Director for Life-sciences, Pharma, Healthcare, and STM Publishing.

In 2019, Ilian attended Anna Tsolova Academy for a Public Speaking Course.

During 2017, Ilian took a Business Analysis Course at ITCE.

From 2007 to 2008, Ilian studied at BEIED - Business Education for International Economic Development and obtained a Business Administration Professional degree in the Certified Professional Management Program, which is equivalent to an MBA.

In the same period, Ilian also completed a Project Management Professional Course Certificate from Sirma Group Corp.

Lastly, from 1996 to 2002, Ilian attended Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and earned a Master of Humanities degree with a focus on English Language and Literature.
