Max Brooks

Max Brooks has extensive work experience in the education industry. Most recently, they are the Managing Director at Open Up Resources since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at CT3 from June 2018 to September 2022. Max also worked at Discovery Inc for several years, holding various roles including Senior Manager Education Partnerships, Education Partnerships Manager, Regional Account Manager, and Discovery Educator Network (DEN) Manager. Their earliest work experience was as a SmartLab Facilitator at Friendship Public Charter School, where they designed and implemented a model for a STEM learning environment. Max also served as a Curriculum Coordinator and Spanish Teacher at the same school.

Max Brooks attended Morehouse College, where they pursued a B.A. in Spanish. Later, they enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus to earn an M.A. in Education.
