Job description

About Optimal Workshop

Optimal Workshop is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. We’ve been a leader in user experience (UX) tools for over a decade. Our suite of specialized tools allows start-ups and Fortune 500 companies to test their websites, apps and products early, often and at scale — all in one place. We believe life on and offline should feel easy, even enjoyable. That’s exactly what we help our customers do — build better user experiences.

Role Description

Our designers play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and design strategy across our project teams. As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with engineers, designers and other stakeholders to define product requirements and design solutions that meet customer needs.

Your work will span across various types of releases, from conceptualizing and designing new products to implementing small improvements driven by customer feedback. We’re reimagining how design functions in our organization, and there is a lot of opportunity to be part of shaping the future of our platform.

Outside of our project teams, you’ll also work closely with our product marketers to deliver releases, our customer facing teams, and our data team to find the best ways to measure and improve what we release.

Who we’re looking for

  • An experienced Product Designer who is collaborative, curious and considers the customer at every step

  • Someone with the ability to lead design from discovery through to delivery

  • An expert in interaction design, and loves getting into the details of how things work

  • Someone confident in conducting research with customers, and synthesizing their findings into actionable outcomes

  • Someone with experience collaborating with front-end and back-end engineers to bring projects to life

  • A clear communicator who is great at finding the best way to share ideas with their team and the wider business

Why work at OW?

  • You’ll do work that’s challenging and meaningful, and you’ll be empowered to bring your knowledge and experience to the table

  • We provide a supportive, encouraging and collaborative environment where work-life balance is important

  • We’re a place that values people and what they bring to the table—their personality and their skills. We appreciate great work, and love working with people who do too

  • Wellbeing budget to spend on what makes you feel good!

  • Dedicated training budget to help you to upskill and drive your own career
