Nicolas Herrera

Nicolas Herrera has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sales and business development. Nicolas is currently working as a Sales Director at Optiva Inc. starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Nokia from January 2018 to October 2021, where they held roles such as Sales Manager and Senior Key Account Manager. From July 2015 to October 2017, they served as the Sales and Business Development Director for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean at Myriad Group AG. Before that, they worked as a Sales Director at ATS - Advanced Technology Solutions SA from October 2011 to March 2015. Nicolas also held the position of Regional Sales Director at Comptel from October 2009 to September 2011. Nicolas also has experience as a Sales Director for Latin America at SpinVox from September 2007 to October 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked at VeriSign as a Sales Director for Mexico and Central America from March 2005 to September 2007, and at Lightbridge as a Sales Director for Mexico and Central America from May 2001 to March 2005. Their career began at Oracle, where they served as a Sales Manager for the Telecom Industry from November 1997 to May 2001. Prior to this, they worked as an Account Manager at Ericsson from February 1990 to November 1997.

Nicolas Herrera completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications & Electronics Engineering from a university between 1985 and 1990. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, between 2005 and 2008.
