Sherif Shalaby has over 10 years of experience in product management and IT operations. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Product Manager at Pelcro, where they led external-facing product documentation and evangelism efforts, remodeled product development process elements, and provided guidance on privacy requirements, impacts, and improvements to the business practices. In 2022, they transitioned to Dell Technologies as a Senior Product Manager in the Data Protection & Observability area, where they worked closely with UX/UI experts and engineering teams to refine and prioritize requirements, and supported training and enablement. In 2021, they also joined Zyda as a Product Manager, where they lead the product development of 3 new delivery partner integrations, lead the product discovery & delivery of a POS aggregator integration, and spearheaded the launch and adoption of subscription management operations. In 2018, they began working at Dell Technologies as a Program Resource Deployment Manager, where they managed technical resources' expertise, availability and location, and received Dell "Bravo" awards for sorting out client escalations. In 2019, they joined VeraSafe as a Project Manager, where they managed 35+ client-facing compliance programs and IT security audits, automated Google app scripts for project planning process, and managed overall IT operations. In 2016, they began working at CIB Egypt as a Data Protection Administrator, where they lead the launch, adoption, and automation of data protection program, lead DR exercises & benchmarking for backup & recovery, and trained and coached IT administration and operation team members. In 2012, they joined IBM as a Product Support Specialist, where they participated in launching Remote US TSM technical support and knowledge base development programs, and received IBM "Putting the Client First" and "Uniting to Get It Done" awards. In 2011, they began working at Teleperformance as a Workforce Specialist and Social Media Specialist, where they administered setup and utilization of Community WFM software and ACD reporting, managed long-term forecast / staff plan and lead monthly staff plan, and oversaw short-term workload forecasting and scheduling philosophy of schedule assignments. In 2010, they joined ADEL HAGGAG Ltd. as a Web Designer & Administrator, where they were responsible for creating the company's site and pages, formulating plans/proposals and presenting it to the client or senior management, and providing efficient assistance to both internal and external customers. In 2009, they began working at Orange Business Services as a Network Support Specialist.

Sherif Shalaby has an extensive education history. Sherif obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering from Cairo University between 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they attended Rajac Schools from 2002 to 2005 and obtained a High School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including an OSU Certified Technical Writer from Oregon State University in June 2020, a Dell Certified Information Storage and Management Associate V3 from Dell Technologies in May 2019, an IBM Certified Associate - Tivoli Storage Manager V6.3 from IBM in December 2012, a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute in September 2022, and an IELTS Academic C1 from the British Council in August 2019.
