Heather Christie-Burns has a diverse and extensive work experience in the energy industry. Heather'srecent role as Vice President of the Transmission Business Unit at Pembina Pipeline Corporation involves managing major natural gas and natural gas liquids systems in Canada and the U.S. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Creative Destruction Lab, supporting seed-stage technology companies. Heather served as an Independent Board Member at Interface Fluidics, a nanotechnology-focused oilfield laboratory services company. Additionally, Heather has experience as a Board Member at the University of Calgary, overseeing the university's business and affairs. Heather also founded and served as President and CEO of High Ground Energy Inc., an oil and gas exploration and production company, and was President and Chief Operating Officer of Angle Energy Inc., which became a publicly traded company. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Bear Creek Energy/Crossfield Gas, a Senior Reservoir Engineer at Encal Energy Inc., and a Reservoir/Evaluations Engineer at Fekete Associates Inc. Heather Christie-Burns obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, from 1990 to 1994.
