Andrew B. has extensive experience in the field of information security and IT infrastructure analysis. Andrew is currently the Head of Information Security at Pension Insurance Corporation plc, a position they have held since October 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Security Architect at the same company from March 2020 to October 2023, and as a Senior IT Security Analyst from July 2017 to March 2020.

Before joining Pension Insurance Corporation plc, Andrew B. had a successful tenure at M&C Saatchi, where they served as a Senior Network Engineer from June 2016 to June 2017, a Network Infrastructure Analyst from January 2013 to June 2016, and an IT Infrastructure Analyst from September 2011 to January 2013.

Andrew began their career at CodeBlue as a Senior Systems Engineer from February 2007 to June 2011.

Andrew B. has a Bachelor of Computing Systems degree from the Eastern Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. In 2011, they received the FCNSA and FCNSP certifications from Fortinet Training, Ingram Micro New Zealand. In 2016, Andrew attended the Fortinet EMEA Tech Support and Training Center, where they became an NSE 4 Security Professional. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in October 2019 and the ITIL Foundation Level certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2012.
