Lead E&i Engineer at Perenco S.A.

Albert Richter has extensive experience in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a career spanning over 24 years. Albert is currently working at Perenco as a Lead E&I Engineer, where they manage and resolves offshore drilling units' electrical and instrumentation maintenance and technical issues. Albert is also responsible for preparing interface and power supply documentation for decommissioning projects and reviewing work procedures to ensure they are compatible with both Europe and the UK.

Prior to their role at Heerema Fabrication Group, Albert worked at Valaris Limited as a Senior Subsea Engineer/Control System Engineer, where they performed mechanical and electrical maintenance on blowout preventers. Albert also conducted major and minor overhauls of high-pressure air compressors, control valves, and other components.

Earlier in their career, Albert worked at Noble Drilling as a Senior Electrician, responsible for operating and maintaining electrical and electronic systems on drilling rigs. Albert provided training to staff members on the correct operation, calibration, and maintenance of complex equipment.

Albert's first job in the industry was at Wood Group, where they worked as an E&I Engineer. Albert troubleshooted and performed faultfinding on process control units, conducted maintenance on power generation units, and dealt with refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Albert Richter attended Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1992 to 1996. During this time, they completed an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
