Sylvie Lebel

Sylvie Lebel has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Sylvie currently holds the position of Medical Director at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver since 2022. Previously, they worked as an MD at CHOC Children's Hospital of Orange County starting in 2011 and held the role of Medical Director at Phoenix Children's Hospital since 2016. Sylvie also served as the Associate Medical Director at Children's Hospital Los Angeles from 2007 and worked as an MD at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego from 2004.

Sylvie Lebel earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at McGill University from 1987 to 1992. Sylvie later completed their residency in Anatomical Pathology at McGill University in 1997. Following that, they pursued a residency in Pediatrics at McGill University in 1998. Sylvie Lebel then undertook a Pediatric Gastroenterology Residency Program fellowship at McGill University in 1999. Finally, they completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hepatology and Liver Transplant at the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2003.
