Soumya De has an extensive work experience in the field of technology, with a focus on supply chain, data and analytics, and business intelligence. They have held various roles in different companies, starting with Tata Consultancy Services in 2007, where they managed a team and implemented reporting and dashboarding applications for a Hollywood Studio. They then worked at Wipro Limited as a Senior Software Engineer, leading a platform migration project for an oil trading company. After that, they joined IBM as a Senior Consultant, specializing in SAP Business Intelligence and Analytics. At Cargill, Soumya served as an Associate Director and Data & Analytics Solution Advisor, where they developed marketing initiatives to increase brand recognition and formulated strategies to enhance data and information capabilities. Currently, Soumya is the Global Head of Technology Solutions at pladis Global, responsible for the IT and digital strategy for R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics globally. Throughout their career, they have been recognized for their leadership skills, innovation, and high performance.

Soumya De completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Tele-Communication from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur in 2007. Later, in 2014-2015, Soumya pursued a Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA) with a focus on Marketing and Information & Technology Management from the Indian School of Business. Additionally, Soumya has also obtained certifications in "AI for Everyone" from deeplearning.ai in 2020 and "Digital Transformation" from Coursera.
