Priya Emerson

Priya Emerson has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President Portfolio Operations at Platinum Equity, where they are responsible for overseeing the portfolio operations. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Portfolio Operations at the same company.

Before joining Platinum Equity, Priya worked as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Unical Aviation, Inc. for a year. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at Grainger, a Fortune 500 company. In this role, they led and developed the annual global financial plan and budget/forecast and delivered robust management reporting to executive leadership and investors.

Priya also served as the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Snapsheet Inc, a venture-backed industry leader of virtual claims technology for insurance. At this company, they built out the finance, treasury, compliance, and accounting organization and led financial and strategy dialogue with the board and investors.

Earlier in their career, Priya held several leadership roles at OnePlus Systems, Walgreens, Allstate Financial, Eaton Corporation, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Kraft Foods, where they gained extensive experience in finance, business development, and supply chain.

Priya Emerson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Priya also holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus on Marketing Management, Operations, and Strategic Management. In addition, Priya has obtained a Lean Six Sigma certification from the Lean Six Sigma Institute.
