Marvin J. Diaz

Marvin J. Diaz has a strong background in corporate strategy, strategic planning, credit management, and investment banking. Marvin J. currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Transformation at Popular. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning at Popular, Inc. from 2019 to 2023. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as VP & Credit Manager, Corporate Credit Division at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Additionally, Diaz has extensive experience in investment banking, having held the positions of Managing Director and Vice President at Popular Securities, LLC from 2004 to 2016.

Marvin J. Diaz completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Legal Studies from The Wharton School, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Marvin J. later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2008 to 2009. During their MBA, they focused on Finance, Real Estate, Management, and Strategy.
