Amaravathi Katta

Amaravathi Katta has a strong background in software engineering and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. They started their career as a QA Automation Engineer at Ford Motor Company in 2003 before moving on to roles such as Lead Software Engineer at Computer Science Corporation and Assurant.

In 2010, Amaravathi joined AT&T as a Software Architect, where they were responsible for customizing UI presentations on different devices and designing and developing user interfaces using AngularJS. They held this position for seven years before transitioning to a role at Equifax in 2017.

At Equifax, Amaravathi served as the Sr. Director of Software Engineering, leading a team of 25 to 30 software engineers in the development of key transformation projects. They played a key role in delivering high transaction online systems and re-platforming applications into microservices. They also set the technical direction for the team and made strategic technology decisions in collaboration with the SVP of Software Development. During their time at Equifax, Amaravathi enabled the migration of over 200 products from legacy to cloud systems.

After their tenure at Equifax, Amaravathi joined Silicon Valley Bank as the Director of Software Engineering in 2021. In this role, they led the software engineering team and were involved in the development of various projects. They later transitioned to the role of Sr. Manager of Software Development before ultimately leaving the company in 2023.

Currently, Amaravathi works as the Director of Software Engineering at PRGX Global Inc. since 2023.

Amaravathi Katta holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM University. In addition, Amaravathi has obtained certifications in Elasticsearch Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02): 3 Virtual Private Cloud from LinkedIn in 2021, Continuous Delivery with GitLab from LinkedIn in 2021, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2020.
