Senior Food Scientist at Prime Roots

Li-Chien Tsai has worked in the food industry since 2007. Li-Chien began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Taiwan University, where they transferred the mass production technique of enzyme-rich soybean residue to a feed company, bioactive feed 1 ton/week. Li-Chien also served as a Teaching Assistant for Food Analysis Experiment course with 30 students three hours a week. In 2010, they became a Food Technologist at Gemfont Corporation. In 2017, they worked as a Technical Advisor at the Anti Additive Association. In 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst Extern at the NJ Food Processors Association. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Regulatory Administrative Assistant at the Robertet Group. Currently, they are a Food Scientist at Prime Roots.

Li-Chien Tsai obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Chemistry from National Taiwan University between 2004 and 2009. Li-Chien then earned a Master of Science in Agricultural Chemistry from the same university between 2007 and 2009. In 2018, Li-Chien Tsai completed a Master of Business and Science in Food Science from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. In addition to their degrees, Li-Chien Tsai has obtained several certifications, including a Mini-MBA in Digital Supply Chain Management from Rutgers Business School (October 2019), a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) (October 2019), and a HACCP Plan Development for Food Processors from the International HACCP Alliance (March 2019).
