Ben Cochrane

Ben Cochrane is a Senior Research Economist currently on secondment at the Productivity Commission since July 2023, following a tenure as an Analyst at the Commonwealth Treasury from February 2021 to November 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Paralegal at Squire Patton Boggs and as a Law Clerk at both Ashurst and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. Ben's legal career began as a Legal Administrator and Paralegal at the Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc. Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Economics from Curtin University, as well as additional studies in Econometrics and International Economics at Yonsei University.
